The 8th Annual Outsourcing in Clinical Trials Europe 2018 was held last 15th-16th May 2018 in Barcelona, Spain. It is the leading clinical trial outsourcing conference in Europe which aims to promote better collaboration between trial sponsors and solution providers, and provide attendees with practical take-aways that can be applied to their own operations.
SOM Biotech Clinical Operations Manager, Dr. Santiago Esteva, was one of the keynote speakers of the event. He discussed about the relationship of small biotech companies and CROs from SOM’s perspective, highlighting the challenges in selecting a CRO to conduct the company’s trials.

Some members of the SOM Biotech team also attended the event and had a chance to interact with CROs and vendors from all over the world, building relations and making SOM Biotech known as a drug repurposing company through expanding network in the clinical trial industry.
