Starting the year seizing business opportunities, SOM Biotech attended the Biotech Showcase/J.P. Morgan Conference held on January 7-9, 2019 in San Francisco, California.
Biotech Showcase is an investor and networking conference devoted to providing private and small- and mid-cap biotechnology companies an opportunity to present to and meet with investors and biopharmaceutical executives during the course of one of the largest annual healthcare conferences that attracts investors and biopharmaceutical executives from around the world.
The conference offered SOM Biotech the opportunity to meet potential partners in the biopharmaceutical industry that are interested in in-licensing the company’s most advanced asset in the pipeline, SOM3355 for Huntington’s disease. SOM has also gained the interest of some drug-discovery companies in partnership and co-development activities by promoting its proprietary artificial intelligence repurposing technology.
In parallel with the conference, SOM also attended several meetings with prospective investors and collaborators to introduce the company and attract funding.
