SOM Biotech participated in the 10th Drug Discovery Innovation Programme that took place on November 28th -29th- in Barcelona, Spain.
Luca Signorile – Computational Chemist of SOM Biotech –performed the presentation on the topic “Re-Discovering Drugs: Advantages, Perspectives, and the role of AI.” During his speech, he gave an insight into the computational side of the SOM Biotech discovery process. He also revealed the main advantages of SOM Biotech cutting-edge, AI-based technology: high predictivity, validation through successful results of clinical trials, and the possibility of its application in any therapeutic area.
Luca also participated in the panel “The future of Drug Discovery and AI – The Role of Human and Machine”, where the topic was discussed between the experts in the field.
