This year, SOM Biotech was invited to present to the Investors Circle of the Business Angel Network of BIO.NRW on the 9th of July in Dusseldorf, Germany. SOM Biotech CEO Dr. Raúl Insa presented the company, highlighting its proven business model to the attending investors.
The presentation platform is held three to four times a year in a strictly confidential investors circle (BIO.NRW Business Angel Circle) where companies are given a unique opportunity to present and discuss their business models to and seek support from a hand-picked group of investors (private, development banks, venture capitals, corporate venture).
The BIO.NRW Business Angel Network supports innovative life science start-ups directly at university, promising young companies, as well as international biotech/life science companies that intend to settle in NRW (North Rhine-Westphalia). Besides financing founders, BIO.NRW Business Angels also provides support in the subsequent financing of established companies that are looking to take the next step in their development. With its know-how, contacts, and capital, they are a decisive factor for a successful start in business.
