Biomedical companies rise 60 million in investment rounds – Press release EXPANSIÓN Catalunya

The Catalan Biotechnology and digital health companies dedicated to biomedicine and digital health captured 59.8 million euros in 2019 in financing rounds, 4.9% more than in 2018, when the investment volume reached 57 million, according to the ranking elaborated by EXPANSIÓN Catalunya.

SOM Biotech is in third place on the list of those companies. In 2019 SOM Biotech closed a financing round of 7 million euros led by a holding company belonging to a European family with a long tradition in the pharmaceutical sector. Find the complete press release here (press release in Spanish).
